Troubleshooting Image Uploading

Images should be cropped to 200 pixel width by 200 pixel height. Image files cannot be larger than 250kb in size, and must be jpg, jpeg, gif, or png format. If you continue to have trouble, see the instructions below.

Images should be cropped to 200 pixel width by 200 pixel height.

• To crop the image, open in a photo editing program.
• Select the crop/resize tool or option from the menu.
• Enter width as 200 pixels, enter height as 200 pixels
• Crop/resize the image and save the file.

Image file cannot be larger than 250kb

• Locate the file in the explorer/finder window.
• Right click/control click on the file and select Properties/Get Info
• File size should not exceed 250kb

Image file must be jpg, jpeg, gif, or png format.

• Locate the file in the explorer/finder window.
• Right click/control click on the file and select Properties/Get Info
• File type should read jpg, jpeg, gif, or png format.

Once your image is uploaded successfully, the thumbnail will appear on the online Entry Form.

• Note: The thumbnail image does not reflect the actual size and look of the image as it appears on viewbooks and ballots.
• CEW will contact you if the image does not appear in the correct format.
